With a 90 minute cut-off for the 5K, 2 1/2 hours for the 10K, and 4 hours for the half marathon, our races are walker friendly!

7:00 AM start of all races
8:30 AM cut-off for the 5K
9:30 AM cut-off for the 10K
11:00 AM cut-off for the half marathon
Along with pretty views of the water and nice, laid-back neighborhoods, the Geist courses have some hills. Nothing too dramatic, but don't expect board-flat either. See the course description page for maps and elevation charts.
Parking and Directions
On race day: There is NO parking at the start or finish areas! Arrive early to avoid congestion! Free parking is available in the following locations: Fall Creek Intermediate School, Fall Creek Elementary School, Hamilton Southeastern High School Student and Athletic Lots. There is NO parking at the Kroger or Walgreens parking lots (enforced by Fishers police). Visit the directions and parking page for maps and detailed directions.

Gear Check will be provided in the drive-thru lanes of First Merchants Bank on Olio Rd. Please limit your bag to something small and reasonable. The area will be monitored by volunteers, but we cannot guarantee the security of valuables, so please use common sense regarding what you check.

Please be aware that ALL entries are non transferable and non refundable. If you can't run, your registration will be considered a contribution to the Geist area schools to raise funds to benefit physical fitness programs within the schools. Thank you for your understanding. However, we do allow you to defer to the following year for a nominal fee. See our registration page for more details. You must defer in advance, not on race day.
We are a rain-or-shine event and plan to hold the race except in the most dire of situations. Safety does come first, though. If a strong storm with lightning moves through, we may have to delay until it passes. We will only cancel the event if race officials and local law enforcement agree it is unsafe to continue, and the situation will not improve for the morning.
