I will be starting at the official start line, which is at 113th and Olio and ends on the bridge by the sign that shows the lane ending/merging.

I ran the Geist Half Marathon course this morning and loved it! It is very scenic. The majority of the course is downhill, which is nice. The only hills to contend with are at mile 8 as you enter Feather Cove I. The two hills are reasonable, and am confident most people can handle them sucessfully.

There are some great views of the reservoir, including miles 1.5 and mile 3 (the first time over the bridge). What a great way to end the race, as you come off Carroll road and see the reservoir and bridge in the distance, all heading downhill! A fast finish for sure!

I am excited about this course and think others will be excited about it too!

I ran the mini-marathon two weeks ago and then this course today. It is definitely possible for people to run both events if they want.

If you haven’t already done so, sign up for the Geist Half Marathon! It’s going to be a good race!
