Geist Half Marathon & 5K “Race Around the Reservoir”

Lesley S. Stoeffler with Genesis Real Estate Services Inc. has agreed to be the sponsor of our “Sponsor Tent” which will be adjacent to the Geist Marina. They will receive banner recognition on the “Sponsor Tent” which will house all the vendor booths, packet pick-up, and post race festivities. Thanks Lesley!

Bella Vita Ristorante, the lakefront Italian restaurant overlooking Geist Reservoir at the Geist Marina, has become our first Captain’s Sponsor. Shelley and Henri Najem, owners of Bella Vita, have agreed to host the post race party at their restaurant and in the Bella Vita parking lot. Runners and walkers alike will be able to reunite while feasting on gourmet Italian food, drinks, and live entertainment.

Thank you all for volunteering to work at the Indianapolis 500 Festival Mini-Marathon Expo & Packet Pick-Up on May 3rd-4th! We have board members which will be working with you as well during your scheduled times, all you will need to do is show up, be friendly, and pass out registration cards to runners. We will get you a bullet list of information prior to the event so you can answer questions about the race itself. We would like to have more volunteers, if you know of anyone, please forward their info along to me.
